Kenya: 8 days in Masai Mara, Amboseli & more
This safari tour begins in Nairobi and ventures first to Masai Mara. There will be many opportunities to see the wildebeests and many other typical African animals. Witness part of the annual wildebeest migration as they cross the Mara River from Serengeti National Park. The next part of the safari will take you to Lake Nakuru National Park. This park is famous for being home to thousands of flamingoes. It's been said that this phenomenon makes the area look like a pink carpet when viewed from above. The safari then visits Amboseli National Park and then continues to Tsavo National Park to see Mzima Springs and the Shetani Lava Flow before returning to Nairobi and concluding with relaxing time at a spa!
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara

You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or from the Nairobi Airport for a journey to Masai Mara Game Reserve. There will be a stopover at the edge of the escarpment allowing you to see the great Eastern Rift Valley. This is a geological phenomenon that spreads from the Red Sea to Mozambique. Arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch, which will be followed by an afternoon game drive.
Day 2: Masai Mara full day

Enjoy the whole day in beautiful Masai Mara with a couple of game drives. Explore the vast tree-studded reserve. There is a good chance to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, cheetahs, antelopes, warthogs, and more. This game reserve is famous for having the highest wildlife concentration per square kilometer.
Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, depart Masai Mara Game Reserve for Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time to enjoy lunch in the park. There will be an afternoon game drive around the lake and into the national park. The lake has the world’s largest concentration of flamingoes. Pelicans and other bird species are abundant. The adjacent national park is the home of giraffes, lions, leopards, and more. There is a rhinoceros sanctuary in the area, and thus rhino sightings are almost guaranteed.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli

After breakfast, the safari will proceed to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. Lunch will be in Nairobi. Arrive in Amboseli in the late afternoon. You will have lovely views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and a short game drive along the way.
Day 5: Amboseli

Spend a full day in the Amboseli National Park with a couple of game drives. Mt. Kilimanjaro makes Amboseli an ideal photographer’s haven by offering a spectacular back drop for wildlife and scenic photography. Many of Africa's famous large mammals can be found in this swampy park. The park is also a home of many interesting bird species.
Day 6: Amboseli to Tsavo

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Embark on an early game drive before breakfast for a few final views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, there will be more chances to see wildlife as part of the onward journey. Arrive in Tsavo West in the afternoon. Enjoy lunch at the lodge and have some time to relax before going on an evening game drive, visiting the rhino sanctuary with game viewing opportunities on the way to and from the sanctuary.
Day 7: Tsavo West to Nairobi

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After an early breakfast, visit Mzima Spring, which is a huge pool of water that is fed by an underground river with the source at Mt. Kilimanjaro. This large pool is home to hippos, crocodiles, and fish. There is an underground glass observatory tank that allows you to view all the animal activities from underground. After this visit, depart for Nairobi, with lunch en route. Arrive in Nairobi in the early evening.
Day 8: Spa treatment and end of safari
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, go to the spa for a soothing and relaxing massage. This will take much of the morning. Afterwards, depart to the airport for your onward journey. Thank you for traveling with us!
