Day 1

​Accommodations: Camping in Moremi Game Reserve or hotel stay in Maun

Meals: Dinner

​Arrive at the airport in Maun, Botswana! Your safari guide will pick you up from the airport. You can choose either to spend your first night relaxing at a quaint hotel in Maun, or depending on your arrival time, start your safari and journey to Moremi Game Reserve and your first night of camping. Our professional staff travel ahead of your safari vehicle and set up & remove all of your tents, bedding, etc., so that you will arrive with everything set up each day that you’re camping. Each traveler will have a cot with mattress pad to sleep on. The camp cook will prepare meals for you during each camping day. Your drive today will include good opportunities to see your first wildlife of the journey! Meals: Dinner.

Day 2

Continue your stay in Botswana in Moremi Game Reserve! Our professional staff travel ahead of your safari vehicle and set up & remove all of your tents, bedding, etc., so that you will arrive with everything set up each day that you’re camping. Each traveler will have a cot with mattress pad to sleep on. The camp cook will prepare meals for you during each camping day. Your drive today will include good opportunities to see a lot of wildlife! Meals: Dinner.

Day 3

Accommodations: Camping 

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

You will get to see a lot of wildlife in Moremi Game Reserve today, as you will have both a morning and then an evening game drive. During the middle of the day, animals take a break from grazing and are difficult to spot, which means it’s the perfect time for you to have a break back at the camp site. Use the time to relax, unwind, and enjoy lunch. There is an opportunity to spend the night on a remote island in the Okavango Delta! Camping overnight in Moremi or on remote island in Moremi. 

Day 4

Accommodations: Camping 

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

There will be a short morning game drive after breakfast, time permitting. Then, you will depart from Moremi Game Reserve and go to Savuti Park, known for its hillier geography and large concentration of elephants and predators. You’ll likely see wildlife along the way. Watch as the terrain changes periodically during the drive. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Savuti. Camping overnight in Savuti. 

Day 5

Accommodations: Camping 

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

You will enjoy the Savuti area today. There will be both a morning and an afternoon game drive in Savuti Park, with plenty of time to see incredible wildlife! Notice how different the landscape becomes in this area of Botswana! Camping overnight in Savuti.

Day 6

Accommodations: Camping 

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After a quick morning game drive, you will depart Savuti Park and head for Chobe National Park. There will be an afternoon game drive in Chobe National Park, which is another great place to see wildlife along watering holes and by the river. Camping overnight in Chobe.

Day 7

Accommodations: Camping 

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Enjoy a lovely morning game drive in Chobe, then head back to the camp site for lunch and relaxation. Instead of an afternoon game drive, you will have an afternoon Chobe River boat ride game viewing experience. It’s another interesting perspective of the lives of the animals along the river, and a good opportunity to spot some interesting birds, like the African Fish Eagle! You will also have a chance to stop in the town of Kasane to pick up a few grocery items, if desired. Camping overnight in Chobe.

Day 8

Accommodations: Victoria Falls Waterfront Lodge (or equivalent)

Meals: Breakfast. Lunch and dinner are at your expense; the lodge offers plenty of variety.

If there is time, enjoy a morning game drive in Chobe National Park. Then, your guide will drive you to the border of Botswana and Zambia, where you will cross the border by speed boat (perhaps a 10 minute journey). After you’ve cleared customs, the group will depart for and arrive at the lodge in Victoria Falls. Enjoy the tropical landscaping, take a dip in the pool, and enjoy this beautiful location! 

Day 9

Accommodations: Victoria Falls Waterfront Lodge (or equivalent)

Meals: Breakfast. Lunch and dinner are at your expense; the lodge offers plenty of variety.

Today is free to choose your own activities (there are all kinds of choices, from boat rides along the Zambezi River, to flights over Victoria Falls, visits to wildlife sanctuaries, and much more).  Overnight at Victoria Falls Waterfront Lodge (or equivalent).

Day 10

Meals: Breakfast

This is the end of the tour! Depending on the time of your departing flight, you may have time to book an optional morning activity through the lodge.
